The Dryden High School (DHS) Outdoor Education class participated in a workshop with the Dryden Trappers Council on February 13, 2013. The Dryden Trappers Council organizes two workshops annually, held in November and February. The first workshop is an introduction to trapping, laws, regulations and hands on skinning. The second workshop is a field trip where the students are taken into the bush and shown how sets are made and how the animal is caught. A total of 24 students participated. The Dryden Trappers Council also donated four sets of snowshoes to the Dryden High School.
